University of Minnesota Center for Neuroengineering


The Neural Systems Engineering program will support 8 undergraduates from outside the University of Minnesota to do a 10 week summer research project at the U.  For more about the Summer REU program go to the NSE REU website, and apply through the LSSURP program.

CNE Director Prof. He will be taking over as the next chair of the department of Biomedical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon.  Congratulations Dr. He.  We thank you for starting the Center for Neuroengineering and all of your support.  We wish you good luck in your new position.

The Center for Neuroengineering is a campus-wide research center to promote interdisciplinary research and training in the field of neuroengineering. Participating faculty come from various departments and colleges including biomedical sciences and engineering and physical sciences.

The mission of the Center for Neuroengineering is to advance neuroengineering research, foster collaborations between neuroscience and engineering faculty at the University of Minnesota and with industrial partners, and training of the next generation of leaders in this exciting field.
